Top 10 Safest Stocks To Buy Right Now

Treasury yields fell, and prices gained, on Wednesday after end-of-month portfolio rebalancing along with mixed economic data helped to fuel buying in U.S. government paper.

But trading activity was mostly muted as investors said they were looking ahead to the payrolls numbers on Friday to gauge shifts to the outlook for interest-rate moves in June and beyond.

Top 10 Safest Stocks To Buy Right Now: Peugeot S.A. (PUGOY)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By SEEKINGALPHA.COM]

Yes, you read that correct! General Motors (NYSE: GM) will probably not settle for just a new 52-week high and will aim to take out the 2013 peak of $41.85. With talks about the Opel sellout to PSA Group (OTCPK:PEUGF) (OTCPK:PUGOY) progressing at a rate much faster than I had anticipated, a (likely) deal announcement on Monday will pave the way for new all-time highs.

  • [By Adam Levine-Weinberg]

Now, the General is thinking about ditching Europe for good by selling its European operations to French automaker Peugeot (NASDAQOTH:PUGOY). As long as Peugeot is willing to pay a reasonable price, selling Opel is GM’s best course of action.

  • [By John Rosevear]

It’s official: General Motors (NYSE:GM) will sell its long-troubled Opel subsidiary to French automaker Peugeot S.A. (NASDAQOTH:PUGOY) for about $2.3 billion, in a deal expected to close later this year.

Top 10 Safest Stocks To Buy Right Now: Universal Health Services, Inc.(UHS)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By David Zeiler]

Fear that expense could return if Obamacare is repealed hammered hospital stocks on Nov. 9. HCA Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HCA) fell almost 11%. Universal Health Services Inc. (NYSE: UHS) slipped nearly 7%. And Tenet Healthcare Corp. (NYSE: THC) plummeted almost 25%.

  • [By Ben Levisohn]

Universal Health Services (UHS) tumbled to the bottom of the S&P 500 today after BuzzFeed published an investigative story alleging that the company’s psychiatric hospitals put profits ahead of people.

    Getty Images

Shares of Universal Health Services dropped 12% to$111.30 today, while the S&P 500 rose 1.3% to 2,241.35, a record high.

Universal Health Services’ stock had been minding its business for most of the day–it was up 1.1% at $127.76 at 3:10 p.m. today–when the story by BuzzFeed’s Rosalind Adams went live. Here’s the gist:

Millwood Hospital is part of Americas largest psychiatric hospital chain, Universal Health Services, or UHS. Its more than 200 psychiatric facilities across the country admitted nearly 450,000 patients last year. The result was almost $7.5 billion in revenues from inpatient care last year and profit margins of around 30%. More than a third of the companys overall revenue from both medical hospitals and psychiatric facilities comes from taxpayers through Medicare and Medicaid.

A yearlong BuzzFeed News investigation based on interviews with 175 current and former UHS staff, including 18 executives who ran UHS hospitals; more than 120 additional interviews with patients, government investigators, and other experts; and a cache of internal documents raises grave questions about the extent to which those profits were achieved at the expense of patients.

Universal Health Services market capitalization dropped to $10.7 billion today from $12.3 billion yesterday. It reported net income of $680 million on sales of $9 billion in 2015.

Universal Health Services (UHS) slumped to the bottom of the S&P 500 today after getting downgraded by Raymond James.

    Pixabay

Universal Health Servicesdropped 6.8% to $101.55 today, while the S&P 500 fell 0.8% to 2,253.28.

Raymond James analyst John Ransom and team explain why they cut Universal Health Services to Market Perform from Outperform:

We are lowering our rating onUniversal Health Services to a Market Perform (from an Outperform) due to an escalation in events surrounding last weeks Buzzfeed article. Last Friday (12/9), Senator Grassley, Chair of the Judiciary Committee, sent a letter…to the office of inspector general regarding details of the current federal investigation into Universal Health Services. Specifically, the letter rehashes the Buzzfeed article and requests an update on the investigation by Dec. 23. Our view is that – even ifUniversal Health Services management is correct on the legalities – we think the entrance of the venerable Senator Grassley into the mix takes the political risk to a more dangerous level. Plus – even if “suicide ideation” doesn’t generate additional revenues per admission, we think it’s possible that the heightened political scrutiny could invite more caution and/or red tape into the admissions process – either externally or from self-policing. Add in the ongoing OIG investigation, and we think the risk-reward is no longer compelling.

Universal Health Services’ market capitalization fell to $9.8 billion today from $10.6 billion yesterday. It reported net income of $680 million on sales of $9 billion in 2015.

Universal Health Services (UHS), yesterday’s biggest loser, soared to the top of the S&P 500 today as it rebounded from the massive selloff.

Universal Health Servicesgained 6.9% to $108.57 today, while the S&P 500 rose 0.4% to 2,262.03.

Weakness in Universal Health Services began when Buzzfeed ran an article last week, contending the companys psychiatric hospitals put profits ahead of people. Yesterday, it tumbled when Raymond James cut its rating on the stock due to problems that could be caused by a potential Senate investigation.

Universal Health Services’ market capitalization rose to $10.5 today from $9.8 billion yesterday, nearly recouping its drop from $10.6 billion on Dec. 13.

It reported net income of $680 million on sales of $9 billion in 2015.

Top 10 Safest Stocks To Buy Right Now: Orocobre Limited (OROCF)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By SEEKINGALPHA.COM]

The question now is more about speed of EV implementation. On the supply side, it has been great to see LAC, Pilbara Minerals (OTCPK:PILBF) and Altura Mining (OTCPK:ALTAF) get funding, but the continued issues with Albemarle’s (NYSE:ALB) LaNegra II expansion and Orocobre (OTCPK:OROCF) ramping up to Phase 1 capacity of 17,500 tonnes/year of lithium carbonate are further evidence that lithium projects take time and have considerable execution risk.

Needless to say, the top 3 producers are non-pure plays (SQM (NYSE:SQM), Albemarle (NYSE:ALB), and FMC Corp. (NYSE:FMC)). The top pure play currently producing miners are Orocobre (ASX:ORE) (OTCPK:OROCF), Tianqi Lithium (SHE:002466), Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium, Galaxy Resources, Mineral Resources [ASX:MIN] (OTC:MALRF), and Neometals [ASX:NMT] (OTC:RRSSF). The near-term producers include Altura Mining [ASX:AJM] (OTCPK:ALTAF), Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) (OTC:PILBF), Kidman Resources (ASX:KDR), Critical Elements, Nemaska Lithium (OTCQX:NMKEF) [TSX:NMX], Lithium Americas (OTCQX:LACDF) [TSX:LAC], Lithium X (OTCQX:LIXXF) (TSXV:LIX), Neo Lithium, and Bacanora Minerals (OTC:BCRMF) [TSXV:BCN], Advantage Lithium (OTCQB:AVLIF) [AAL], European Metals (OTCPK:MNTCF, ASX:EMH, AIM:EMH) and Pure Energy (OTCQB:PEMIF) [PE].

Best Insurance Stocks To Invest In Right Now

While I certainly hope that no one reading this is currently involved in a fight with their life insurer over the rising costs of their universal life premiums, I know better.

Over just the last two years, tens of thousands of universal life policyholders have been hit with double-digit premium increases from companies such as Axa Equitable, Voya Financial and Transamerica. More premium hikes, especially to long-time policyholders, are expected.

Universal life was invented in the 1970s and comprised 25% of life insurance policies purchased in the 1980s and 1990s. So the number of people who may eventually be impacted by steep premium hikes could number in the tens of millions.

    Albemarle gained 9.8% to $101.50, while the S&P 500 dipped 0.3% to 2,363.64.

Baird’s Ben Kallo and team liked what they saw from Albemarle:

Reiterate Outperform rating after results beat and guidance exceeded estimates. ALB continues to see strong Lithium demand and pricing, expects Refining Solutions to return to earnings growth in 2017 driven by stronger HPC demand, and bolstered its balance sheet with the sale of Surface Treatment. Additionally, although Bromine is expected to be flat y/y, the segment should generate strong FCF for Lithium investment. We expect shares to trade higher as ALB continues to separate itself from specialty chemical comps with leading market positions and strong revenue growth.

Albemarle’s market capitalization rose to $11.4 billion today from $10.4 billion yesterday.

    2. Price To Sales
Another useful metric is the price-to-sales ratio (P/S). P/S measures a company’s market cap versus its annual revenue number. The idea is that the lower the number, the greater the implied value. For example, Snap, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNAP) trades at 26.9 times sales, an incredibly expensive number. However, aftermarket auto parts giant Genuine Parts (NYSE: GPC) trades at just 0.88 times sales — 88 cents to every dollar of sales the company brings in. Often, the lower the number, the more inefficiently the market has mispriced the stock.

Hot Value Stocks To Watch For 2018: The Baltic Dry Index Soaring, and Double Crown Resources (DDCC)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By James E. Brumley]

Despite the lackluster economic headlines and so-so pricing, commodities aren’t being used less and less. Indeed, most commodities continue to see growing consumption. It’s not only a scenario that works in favor of young-and-hungry company Double Crown Resources Inc. (OTCMKTS:DDCC), but what makes Double Crown such a compelling opportunity is that it’s rather insensitive to commodity price fluctuation.

What’s the biggest risk and hassle of shipping things like pellets or beans or salt? Normally they’re delivered in drybulk vessels, which works, but is rather ineffective. At various points between a supplier and a customer, such goods have to be split up, re-routed, taken off a boat and put on a train (or vice versa). Not only do all the middlemen get expensive, mistakes and spillage cost money.

  • [By Matthew Briar]

It’s not only a scenario that bodes well for an up-and-coming company Double Crown Resources Inc. (OTCMKTS:DDCC).

What if there were a way to remove all the risks and hassle of shipping things like pellets or beans or salt [which are normally delivered in drybulk vessels] but still utilize all the flexibility of intermodal containers… the big box containers that are just at home on the deck of a ship as they are on a flatbed truck as they are on a train car? There is. It’s called Translock2 (Translock Squared), and it’s going to revolutionize the way many material companies deliver their goods. Commodity companies now have an alternative way of shipping their product without constantly handling it – and losing some of it – en route to its final destination.

The nearby image is a Translock2 container. If it looks vaguely familiar to most, it’s essentially an intermodal container in terms of size and shape, but mechanically serves as delivery and dispensing platform for drybulk goods like rice, fertilizer, etc. The design allows commodities to be moved with all the flexibility of intermodal transportation, but without any of the headache of aggregating and splitting up those goods en route to their final destination. With Translock2, drybulk purchases are packaged up by the seller at the supply source, and then delivered — just as ordered — all the way to the buyer’s site in the container. No muss, no fuss, and no middleman. It cuts down on expenses, and lost material.

Its development worth noting, in that it explicitly circumvents the need for drybulk maritime vessels, and turns intermodal container ships into dry cargo vessels.

The recent unveiling of the Translock 2 containers won’t actually change the amount of drybulk material we as a species consume. But, it will offer dry goods suppliers an easier and often cheaper option to expensive and often difficult dry goods vessel shipping. Remember, the Baltic Dr

  • [By Matthew Briar]

Despite the conclusions that may be drawn by the renewed weakness of the Baltic Dry Index, demand for commodities isn’t drying up. In fact, most commodities continue to see increased consumption… including the dry goods the Baltic Dry Index is supposed to measure shipping costs for. The Baltic Dry Index is rolling over again simply because as much as the world continues to up their need for materials such as iron ore, grains, and gravel, the market to deliver those goods remains saturated. That is, too many boats, trains and trucks are fighting for the existing level of business, pulling the value of the Baltic Dry Index and other shipping-cost measures lower. After all, the BDI is ultimately just a measure of the daily shipping rates for maritime vessels – it’s not actually a measure of materials consumption.

Not only does a falling Baltic Dry Index not work against young-and-hungry company Double Crown Resources Inc. (OTCMKTS:DDCC), it may actually favor it.

Hypothetical question: What if there was a way to remove all the risks and hassle of shipping things like pellets or beans or salt (goods normally delivered in drybulk vessels) yet still utilize all the flexibility of intermodal containers? There is. It’s called Translock2, or Translock Squared, and it’s going to revolutionize the way many material companies deliver their goods, and how users of those goods handle and distribute them.

The nearby picture is a Translock2 container. It should look familiair, in that it’s essentially an intermodal container in terms of size and shape, but mechanically serves as a delivery and dispensing platform for drybulk goods. The design allows commodities like sand or livestock feed to be transported with all the flexibility of intermodal transportation, but without any of the headache of constantly aggregating and splitting up such goods to get them from point A to point B. With Translock2, drybulk purchases are packaged up by the seller at the s

  • [By Matthew Briar]

Don’t let the lethargic Baltic Dry Index fool you — commodities aren’t being used less now than they have been in the past. In fact, most commodities are still seeing increased consumption, including the dry goods the Baltic Dry Index is supposed to gauge transportation for. The Baltic Dry Index remains in a bit of a long-term funk because, as much as the world continues to increase their need for materials like iron ore, grain, and gravel, the world also still has too much capacity to deliver them. See, too many maritime vessels are competing for too few dollars, serving as a drag on the value of the Baltic Dry Index lower. After all, the BDI is mostly just a measure of the daily shipping rates for ocean-born transportation services. It’s not actually a measure of consumption of those materials consumption.

It’s not only a scenario that doesn’t work against young-and-hungry company Double Crown Resources Inc. (OTCMKTS:DDCC), but it may actually be a scenario that bodes well for it.

Thought question: What if there was a way to remove all the risks and hassle of shipping goods such as iron ore pellets or beans or salt (commodities that are normally delivered in drybulk vessels) yet still utilize all the flexibility of intermodal containers? There is. It’s called Translock2, or Translock Squared, and it’s going to revolutionize the way many material companies deliver their goods, and the way many drybulk commodity buyers use their material.

The image nearby is a Translock2 container. It should look vaguely familiar. It’s essentially an intermodal container in terms of size and shape, but mechanically is a delivery and dispensing platform for drybulk goods like sand or rice. The design allows commodities like sand gravel or livestock feed to be moved with all the flexibility of intermodal transportation (on flatbed trucks, by rail, and on the deck of a boat but without any of the logistical headache of aggregating and splitti

Providing good contact center service for annuity holders is more difficult today than it used to be 22 years ago.

Brendan Yeager, a service quality specialist at Dalbar, gave that assessment Thursday, in an annuity service award announcement put out by Dalbar.

Dalbar, a Boston-based financial services communication consulting firm, gave its 2017 Annuity Service Award to four annuity issuers: AXA Equitable; AIG Individual Retirement; Guardian Retirement Contact Center; and Transamerica Annuities

This article is more or less about all stocks in the machinery industry since these fundamentals affect all companies who have exposure in this industry. The most important can be seen below:

Who is at the lower-end of the range for 2016 payout ratios? We expect Zions Bancorporation, Huntington Bancshares (HBAN), andBank of America to seek the least amount of capital return in 2016 (ranging between 50-60% of estimated earnings).

stock market basics: Oshkosh Corporation(OSK)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Shanthi Rexaline]

The six companies that met the criterion are:

Oshkosh Corp (NYSE: OSK). Phillips 66 (NYSE: PSX). SpartanNash Co (NASDAQ: SPTN). Suncor Energy Inc. (USA) (NYSE: SU). Washington Federal Inc. (NASDAQ: WAFD). Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS).
    Oshkosh

Oshkosh is a manufacturer of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies and is based in Wisconsin. The company operates under four business segments, namely access equipment, defense, fire and emergency, and commercial.

  • [By Rich Smith]

I first named Oshkosh my top stock pick back in September, when the stock cost $42 and change. Since then, the stock has gone down, and sells for $3 less. So am I supposed to dislike Oshkosh stock now?

No. To the contrary, I like it even more. (About $3 more, in fact).

You see, even in the process of picking Oshkosh back then, I warned investors: "I don’t know whether Oshkosh will be the best-performing stock in the world in the month of September, but I’ve got a strong hunch about the next six months." And that hunch remains — because the facts have not changed.

This past summer, Oshkosh was named the winner of the Pentagon’s contract to build a next-gen "Humvee" — an armored Joint Light Tactical Vehicle that will serve the U.S. military for decades to come. Oshkosh won an initial award to produce 17,000 vehicles for $6.7 billion. Ultimately, though, this is a contract that could swell to $30 billion or more for production, maintenance, and upgrade of approximately 55,000 JLTVs across all military branches.

So why hasn’t Oshkosh stock moved in response to the contract? Mainly because rival bidderLockheed Martin threw a monkey wrench into the contracts process, first protesting the JLTV award to Oshkosh, and then, when that protest was rejected, filing suit in court to try to win the contract away from its rival.

Personally, I think Lockheed Martin will lose that suit as well. After all, Lockheed’s forte is in fighter jets, while Oshkosh is the military’s premier supplier of trucks like JLTV, as well as the Army’s M-ATV vehicle (a small, all-terrain MRAP). Perhaps recognizing this, AM General, the other company that bid against Oshkosh on JLTV and lost, declined to protest the award. Lockheed took the other road, but I expect it will be a dead end for Lockheed as well.

Oshkosh (OSK) was downgraded to neutral from buy at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. $62 price target. The valuation is less attractive, as the stock is trading at 21x expected 2017 earnings, analysts said.

This Un-Sexy Dividend Champ Is Still A Buy

Earlier this year, I profiled one of the best stocks in the perennially un-sexy aftermarket auto parts sector. This stock is still an incredible buy for patient, conservative investors focused on the long haul.

After delivering 9% (including dividends) since my recommendation, shares of Genuine Parts Co. (NYSE: GPC) now trade at an attractive 15% discount to their 52-week high. Despite the rise and sudden drop, my original investment thesis is still intact.

As I pointed out in the previous article, the U.S. aftermarket auto parts space is still highly fragmented. While the big national players such as GPC, O’Reilly (Nasdaq: ORLY), and AutoZone (NYSE: AZO) seem to have a gigantic presence, mom and pop operations are still relevant players on a market share basis. However, consolidating within that independent space is GPC’s growth strategy.

Recently, the company closed on two acquisitions: Apache Hose and Belting Company and Monroe Motor Products. With these two smart buys, GPC was able to add another $125 million to its current annual revenue number of $15.28 billion. They also help solidify GPC’s automotive and industrial supply footprint.

The company also has its sights set overseas growth, as demonstrated by the completion of its Alliance Automotive Group acquisition. Alliance is a leading distributor of aftermarket light and commercial vehicle parts in the UK, France, Germany, and Poland. Historically, a lack of international presence has been GPC’s only major weakness. But with the closure of this particular merger, all that has changed.

So, what does the company’s growth picture look like going forward? After turning in $15.3 billion in sales for 2016, the company is poised to see an even higher number in 2017. As of the end of the third quarter of this year, total revenue numbers are sitting right at $12.1 billion. Sales have averaged $4.03 billion per quarter so far. Barring any disaster, the forecast for 2017 should come in, considering the trend, just north of $16 billion. This would mean a beat of last year’s number by better than 5%.

On the earnings side, GPC turned in earnings per share (EPS) of $4.59 for 2016. 2017 EPS for the full year is expected to come in at $4.69, just 2.1% better. However, the company projects 2018 EPS of $5.43, which would represent a solid 15% growth rate.

The company’s internal metrics are also consistently rock solid. The stock trades at just 0.8 times sales and boasts a return on equity of 21%. GPC’s debt-to-capitalization ratio is also quite low at just around 9%.

Based on Genuine Parts’ current strategy of intelligent, value-oriented growth through acquisition and management’s consistent stewardship and execution, the outlook for the business remains strong.

Risks To Consider: The biggest risk facing the stock is the company assuming more debt to fund its shopping spree. Its long-term debt-to-market capitalization has effectively doubled since my previous article on the company. However, management has shown discipline in the past and will likely continue to do so. Also, the company’s debt-to-capitalization remains low in comparison to its peers.

Action To Take: GPC shares currently trade at a 15.5% discount to their 52-week high, representing an outstanding value for patient, long-term investors. Genuine Parts has also grown its dividend every year over the last 60 years.

The stock currently trades around $86 with a forward P/E of 18.6 and a 3.1% dividend yield. Based on the company’s fundamentals and consistent operating history, I am reiterating my original 12- to 18-month price target of $106. The resulting total return (including dividends) would be 27%.

Editor’s Note: While most companies have to start each day at $0 in sales… my favorite monthly payer generates daily profits rain or shine– and regardless of whats going on in the economy. Plus… its revenue has risen more than 60% over the past four years. Thats why I’m urging you to grab this company right now. Don’t wait…Get the buy details here ASAP.

Top 5 Clean Energy Stocks To Own For 2018

Newsflash: Obamacare will be around in 2018. But its health will vary widely by state — and even by county.

Many insurers are asking for another round of steep rate increases. Others aren’t even willing to return to the exchanges at all.

But some companies say the market is stabilizing, so they plan to stay in the game and charge only a little bit more next year.

The Affordable Care Act was troubled even before President Trump took office, but the Republicans’ quest to dismantle it has made things worse. Trump has caused confusion about whether he’ll continue key components of the law. The two at the top of the list: the mandate that everyone have insurance and the cost-sharing subsidies for lower-income Americans.

At the same time, Senate Republicans are struggling to craft their version of the American Health Care Act, the GOP bill to repeal and replace Obamacare that got one vote more than it needed to pass.

Insurance companies are fleeing ObamaCare – it is dead. Our healthcare plan will lower premiums & deductibles – and be great healthcare!

Those of you who are old enough to remember the “evil empire” may recall that the Soviet Union went to great pains to prevent the West (and indeed its own people) from gaining a clear picture of what was going on inside its borders and those of its client states in Eastern Europe. Ergo, the famous quote from Winston Churchill that it was “… a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.” When it comes to sharing information about 3D XPoint, the IM partners, Micron (NASDAQ:MU) and Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) – with a couple of notable exceptions – seem to be channeling the former USSR in their approach to sharing information about what they tout as the “first true memory innovation in 40 years,” 3D XPoint (hereafter XP).

Why are they doing that, and why should we investors care? After all, nothing about XP is going to move the financial needle for Micron or Intel in the near term. Micron is on record that “material” revenues from XP won’t happen until 2018, and we don’t even know for sure what “material” really means in that context ($100 million, $1 billion? – more on that below). The point, of course, is that XP could be as big as the inimitable SA contributor Steven Breezy thinks it will be – as in being a world-class, competitively decisive, moneymaking product which leads to a new age of computing, thereby transforming the world as we know it – or it could be squat, or anything in between.

jim cramer stock picks: Globus Maritime Limited(GLBS)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Wayne Duggan]

DryShips isn’t the only shipping stock that has skyrocketed this month; the following stocks’ shares are all up between 320 and 720 percent since November 2:

Diana Containerships Inc (NASDAQ: DCIX). Euroseas Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESEA). Globus Maritime Ltd (NASDAQ: GLBS). Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd. (NASDAQ: SINO).

One of the primary reasons for the extreme moves in DryShips and other shipping stocks is a combination of large short positions in the stocks and extremely low share counts. DryShips in particular lowered its share count from around 672 million to only around 1 million via a series of reverse stock-splits throughout the year. The splits were intended to allow the stock to maintain its Nasdaq listing after it had lost more than 98 percent of its value in the first 10 months of 2016.

jim cramer stock picks: Taylor & Martin Group Inc (TMG)

Advisors’ Opinion:

THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC INC’s earnings per share improvement from the most recent quarter was slightly positive. The company has demonstrated a pattern of positive earnings per share growth over the past two years. We feel that this trend should continue. During the past fiscal year, THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC INC increased its bottom line by earning $4.70 versus $3.49 in the prior year. This year, the market expects an improvement in earnings ($7.39 versus $4.70).

  • [By Jim Cramer]

The net income growth from the same quarter one year ago has exceeded that of the S&P 500 and the Life Sciences Tools & Services industry average. The net income increased by 0.9% when compared to the same quarter one year prior, going from $471.60 million to $476.10 million.

  • [By Laurie Kulikowski]

We rate THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC INC as a Buy with a ratings score of A+. This is based on the convergence of positive investment measures, which should help this stock outperform the majority of stocks that we rate. The company’s strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its solid stock price performance, increase in net income, reasonable valuation levels, good cash flow from operations and growth in earnings per share. Although no company is perfect, currently we do not see any significant weaknesses which are likely to detract from the generally positive outlook.

  • [By Jim Cramer]

Net operating cash flow has increased to $743.90 million or 10.04% when compared to the same quarter last year. In addition, THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC INC has also modestly surpassed the industry average cash flow growth rate of 0.44%.

The stock has risen over the past year as investors have generally rewarded the company for its earnings growth and other positive factors like the ones we have cited in this report. Turning our attention to the future direction of the stock, it goes without saying that even the best stocks can fall in an overall down market. However, in any other environment, this stock still has good upside potential despite the fact that it has already risen in the past year.
